President-elect Donald Trump says he will double the state’s growth rate in the course of his time in the workplace. That promise will be hard to keep.

Then, in 2014, President Obama issued a government order that supplied year deportation deferrals for young immigrants like Aguiluz. Trump says he will rescind that order.
If he should talk to Trump, Aguiluz says, here’s what he would say.
“I’m a contributing person within the American society,” he says. “I shop American lives inside the OR. They do not care approximately my immigration reputation. They do not care if I’m a Latino. What they care about is that I’m a competent nurse to be able to deliver them through the surgical operation.”
